"Jack" is all black but for a near side rear sock and a slight star. Has the looks of the old lines of walking horses, like his World Grand Champion Grandsire PRIDES SUNDANCE STAR. He carries himself with a proud high head that shows off his natural four beat stride. Jack is not for sale at this time.
Jack won the title of Colorado State Grand Champion (Halter, Model) Title at the Colorado State Fair, Pueblo in 2008. He still holds the title.
He is a four year old now (as of 2010) and this year he has his second crop of foals on the ground. Last year he sired a beautiful Black Filly out of our mare Dancer. (See Pedigree on web sight). This year he has sired a Fawn colored
colt that will most likely be chocolate with white mane and tail, named Tommy Two Socks, also a mousy black colt with a pretty white blaze and 2 tall white socks named "The Preacher". Both are very nice colts, Preacher is out of Dancer and full brother to Jacks last years filly out of Dancer.
We ride Jack every weekend and he is turning out to be an extremely exceptional trail horse.
He crosses water, streams, rivers, ponds, logs, up and down steep terrain and gets along great with other horses,( most of the time). He has placed well in the shows we have taken him to and has lots of ribbons to his credit. We are very happy with Jack and look forward to his next years crop of foals. We enjoy him ALL the time.
